All in all, a great place to stay, especially if you have pets traveling with you, and not far from Portland.
We chose this hotel based on price and pet allowances, and we were very pleased. The room was clean and comfortable, and their pet policy is very friendly. The staff that we interacted with were all very helpful and friendly. And it was very easy to find off the interstate.
Very pretty setting with a large grassy and pool area. Rhododendrons were blooming while we were there! The staff was very accommodating about giving us an outside room with few steps. The room was large with a large sink area and overall comfortable area.
Nicely remodeled rooms....very tastefully decorated. The restaurant was awesome. Great reasonably priced breakfast. Beautiful pond with benches. Quiet location but close to Yarmouth and Freeport. Lots of shopping outlets and good restaurants.
An extremely nice facility in a perfect location and at a reasonable price. Close to restaurants and shopping locally and very close to Portland for any extra night life you might want. A very nice pool. Although close to the highway, there was very little traffic noise. Very easy access. A place we would gladly stay again.
My husband commented that the bed was like a bed is supposed to be...sheets, pillows and a blanket...he hates those heavy down type blankets/comforters! There is a popular little cafe next door that serves a great breakfast!
We did have a slight issue with water being warm and not hot in the morning, but it was warm enough for showers, so we did not report the problem.
Undergoing renovation at the time of my stay. Good price for the room, refrigerator was a welcome addition. Friendly front desk attendant. A/C unit pretty loud, would have liked a quieter model. But overall reasonably clean and comfortable.
