AWESOME CAMPGROUND! Beautiful forest like setting, quiet and close enough to explore many places and activities Maine has to offer. The park managers, Rodney and Edwina and their family, go out of their way to assure that your stay is marvelous! Ted, the owner, is onsite frequently, and doing the same. Don't miss Thursday night pizza night for tasty homemade pizzas. Last, but not least, don't stop without sharing some love with Cooper, doggie manager at Cedar Haven! It has been a marvelous experience for us and we hope to be able to visit again!

We were definitely mislead by the website and reviews for this campground. Based on the website description of "10 spacious secluded tent sites," we reserved one, only to find that the tent sites were very close together and backed right up to a neighborhood, and our site was not level. All of the other sites seemed right on top of each other too, and the lake/pond pictured online was barely larger than a drainage pond. Our campsite was clean and the porta potty was okay. Since we were just crashing for the night, it was acceptable but more than we would have liked to pay for the accommodations we received. If we would have been planning on spending any amount of time at camp, we would have been very disappointed.

Great people and great facility. Everything is super clean and in working order. Restrooms and showers look like they are brand new. The campground is well marked and spacious. It was easy to drive in and get parked in my big rig. The free WiFi signal was very strong, easy to connect to, and worked well once connected. Next time I'm in the area I will definitely be coming back here.

The overall campground experience was great. It was quiet, clean and had a lot packed into the campground acreage. The one bathhouse was clean and we'll lit. The attached shower was also updated and appears somewhat new. One negative was the site we we're at #4 and adjacent site #5,#6 either not designed well or we're setup to squeeze ever dollar out of the sites. I am hoping it is just that it wasn't designed well because the proximity of the septic hose to our sites picnic table was just plain disgusting (see picture). We tried it for one meal but you can't avoid the smell so close to table area (which had no other place to go).

Very nice campground. Never once saw managers or owners. Never found the store open when we were around. Don't expect a Good Sam discount if you reserve online.

The overall great upkeep and location to both Brunswick and Freeport still makes this a 4 star campground.

One other small negative is that the office is not open at all on Saturday.
