Wonderful stay for our first time in Maine! The room was cozy, the location was peaceful but walkable to the shops, and the breakfast was super delicious (and we are picky)!
This was our first Maine trip to actually STAY in Freeport. Previously we went to Camden. We were very pleased with our choice of Freeport, because it is centrally located to many interesting Maine Spots. Camden is not. We were also pleased with our choice of the White Cedar Inn. It is reasonably priced--most of the others there are not--and it provided all the necessities. I want to mention hot water, because many B&B's in my experience do not have enough. The hot water supply here was more than ample. The room was small, but comfortable. We had windows on two sides, and a view of downtown. The breakfasts were excellent. And the innkeepers are pro's who know what they are doing. The White Cedar Inn is an EXCELLENT VALUE. My wife and I fully recommend it.
Great small place! Close enough to entertainment but far enough where you can sleep peacefully! Really good full breakfast as well!
