Just made my first visit, but it certainly won't be my last. Although I will attempt to make my own bird houses & nesting box, I don't feel skilled enough to attempt a bat house, not the kind they need per wildlife specs. But I knew I could trust the one I purchased here as it had all the information withit. I am just beginning this adventure into birding & backyard wildlife sanctuary, but am psyched to find this place!
Great selection and very knowledgeable staff. The Saturday morning bird walks are awesome (and free!).
This bird store has great bird seed and bird feeding supplies. The staff is helpful most of the time. This is the best place to buy fresh thistle seed!
I am new to trying to attract wild birds. I had gone to one of the home improvement stores but no one could really answer my questions. So I went to Freeport Wild Bird Store. Wow what a difference that was. Sam helped me, and she seemed to know everything, including answering questions I didn't know I had. There's a lot more to attracting wild birds than hanging a bird feeder. I was so pleased with my visit that I immediately told my next door neighbor so she could go there too. One of the most positive experiences I've had in finding a new business.
